At 17, Billy Jr. made a life-changing decision to serve his country, enlisting in the military. During his 8 years of service, he was deployed to Iraq, where he learned valuable skills such as leadership, discipline, and resilience under pressure. His military experience not only shaped his character but also fueled his commitment to hard work and perseverance in everything he does.

After completing his service, Billy Jr. returned home and rejoined his father’s business. There, he honed his skills and further developed his expertise in roofing and construction. His ability to adapt and grow within the industry led to a major turning point in the company’s history. In 2020, Billy Jr. and his team rebranded the business and officially formed Redd Roofing and Construction—a company that embodies quality, integrity, and craftsmanship.

Under Billy Jr.’s leadership, Redd Roofing and Construction has experienced significant growth, establishing a reputation for excellence in the roofing and construction industry. His tireless dedication to his craft and his business has turned Redd Roofing into a trusted name, known for delivering outstanding results on every project.

Billy Jr. continues to lead by example, maintaining a relentless work ethic and commitment to building a company that reflects the same values he learned during his time in the military and the construction trade.

Bill Sr. is a U.S. Army veteran who served until 1982, gaining valuable leadership and discipline. After his service, he worked in the boilmaker industry before relocating to Baldwin County in 1990, following his father’s retirement.

In 1988, Billy Sr. began roofing and, by 1991, founded Redd Roofing. Over the years, his dedication to quality and customer satisfaction built the company’s reputation. In 2020, he partnered with his son, Billy Jr., to rebrand the business as Redd Roofing and Construction, combining his decades of experience with his son’s fresh vision.

Billy Sr. continues to guide the company with the same values of integrity and hard work that have been central to his career.
